Introduction:
This purchase is governed by the following standard terms of sale for consumer purchases of goods over the Internet. By consumer purchases we here mean sale of goods to private consumers who do not shop on behalf of their business or company.
This contract has been prepared to meet Governmental standards and guidelines for online purchase by private consumers within the geographical area we operate in and are here to make sure purchases follows the laws in force regulated by the Law of Purchase, the Marketing Act, the Right of Withdrawal Act and the Act of E-Commerce which gives private consumers certain rights.
The terms of the contract are not to be construed as limiting the statutory rights but set out the parties' most important rights and obligations for trade. The seller may choose to offer the buyer better terms than those set out in these terms of sale. In cases where the contract does not directly provide the solution to a problem, the contract must be supplemented with relevant legal provisions.
1. The agreement
The agreement between buyer and seller consists of the information the seller provides about the purchase in the online store (including information about the product's nature, quantity, quality, other properties, price and delivery conditions), any direct correspondence between the parties (e.g., e-mail) and these terms of sale.
In the event of a conflict between the information provided by the seller about the purchase in the online store, information provided in the terms and conditions of the online purchase and information provided in direct correspondence between the parties will take precedence over the terms of sale.

The buyer is the private consumer ordering online.
3. Prices
The prices given in the online store gives the buyer Information about the total cost the buyer must pay to the seller, including shipping. Separate specifications on product price, shipping cost and VAT, where VAT is required, are stated before checkout and purchase are being completed. Current currency for European buyers, except from Norway, is stated in € (Euros).
4. Entering an agreement
The agreement is binding on both parties when the buyer's order is received by the seller. However, the parties are not bound by the agreement if there has been typing or typing errors in the product info, in the given price online, in the seller`s offer, in the online store or in the buyer`s order, where the other party should have realized that such an error existed.
5. Order confirmation
When the seller has received the buyer's order, the seller must without undue delay confirm the order by sending an order confirmation to the buyer. It is recommended that the buyer checks that the order confirmation matches the order in terms of quantity, item type, price, etc. If there is no correspondence between the order and the order confirmation, the buyer should contact the seller as soon as possible.
6. Payment
The seller can demand payment for the item from the time it is sent from the seller to the buyer. If the buyer uses a credit card or debit card when paying, the seller can reserve the purchase price on the card when ordering for up to 7 days from the order or agree on expanded time period in agreement directly with the buyer. When paying by credit card, the law on credit purchases etc. come into use.
Buyer must be over 18 years of age or have permission from parents to shop in the online store. It is the buyer's own responsibility to follow the age limit practiced by BCsport.no which is regulated in the legislation for consumer online purchases.
7. Delivery
All online orders from consumers are handled through our ERP system and sent out from our warehouse partners with tracking info accessible for the consumer.
8. The responsibility of the item
The responsibility for the item (s) passes to the buyer when the item in the order is received by the buyer in accordance with the agreement. If the delivery time is complied, but the buyer still does not take over the item that has been made available by the seller in accordance with the purchase agreement, the risk of loss or damage of the item due to the product's properties lies with the buyer.
9. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer the buyer may regret the purchase in accordance with the Right of Withdrawal Act regulated by the European Union. Right of withdrawal means that the buyer can return the item to the seller without any further reason, even if there is no defect in it.
Note that right of withdrawal only applies if the item has not been taken into use and are without any visible marks indicating that buyer has taken the item into use. Buyer must also notify seller and register online the use of withdrawal, within the given time frame of 14 days.
How to use the right of withdrawal by returning goods, is stated under "My Profile" online in the online store.
BCsport.no sends all information regarding the right of withdrawal and other terms and conditions electronically to the buyer when purchasing. It is the customer's responsibility to keep track of their email account and provide a correct email address.
In addition, information regarding these matters also is easily accessible for the byer in “My Profile” when purchasing.
10. Regional regulations
Buying partial assembled bikes, UK consumers are responsible for mounting the brakes in accordance with UK laws and regulations, as all bikes are supplied with international braking standards and the UK regulations only apply for fully mounted bikes imported by a Company not registered in the UK.
